Our Philosophy

Allegro West Academy of Dance is a classical ballet studio focused on excellence in ballet training, first and foremost. It is our firm belief that commitment to ballet training is both fundamental and foundational to all other dance forms, so our primary focus is on ballet training using the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus.  Founded in 1920, the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is the largest and most influential dance education and training organization for classical ballet in the world.  RAD is taught in over 70 countries, setting high standards of dance training for over 250,000 students worldwide.  This is the foundation for our dance training.  Supplemental dance classes are offered in Jazz, Tap and Modern.
